The Furinkazan (風林火山) is a battle standard which is used by Takeda Shingen, Japanese feudal lord in the Sengoku period. Furikazan literally means Wind, Forest, Fire, and Mountain. The Banner quoted 4 phrases from Sun Tzu's "The Art of War", these are the 4 phrases :
Fu (風) means "Move as swift as the WIND" Rin (林) means "Stay as silent as a FOREST" Ka (火) means "Attack as fierce as FIRE" Zan (山) means "Be immovable like a MOUNTAIN"
Aside from the battle standard quoted from chapter 7 of Sun Tzu's "The Art of War", there is also another version of the Furinkazan, which is 'Furinkazaninrai'. The last two characters of this means:
In (影) means "Hide as still as a SHADOW" Rai (稲妻) means "Appear as unexpectedly like the LIGHTNING"
The Furinkazan can also be applied in romance as the "Art of Love". This is very common for the teens in Japan.
